MINCE PIE
Ingredients (Two rolls of meat, 6 people approx.)
- 1/2 kg of minced beef
- 1/2 kg of minced pork
- barbecue sauce, Saboralsa
- 250 gr,of cheese, Oro Extremeño
- 350 gr. smoked bacon
- Salt
- ground black pepper, Saboralsa
- 6 boiled eggs
Preparation:
We pepper the meat and add the barbecue sauce (depending on how you like the flavor). Remove and let rest.
We prepare 2 baking papers and on each one we place a row of strips of smoked bacon making sure that each strip is a little mounted on the previous one. We extend the meat on the bacon trying not to stick out at the edges because, when roasting, the bacon shrinks a little.
Cut the cheese into slices and put half of it on top of the meat.
We place three eggs (a bit sepparates) and helping us with the baking paper, we give our meat a roll shape. It is necessary to try to tighten and form the roll well so that it is not be opened in the oven.
Repeat the procedure with the other half of the ingredients and assemble the second roll.
Once prepared, place them in the oven at 200 ºC between 15 and 20 minutes. After that time, we remove the rolls and brush them with barbecue sauce so that they acquire the color and flavor of the sauce.
We return to the oven 5 or 10 minutes and only remains put one the plate.
